Net Optics, Inc., the global leader in intelligent network access solutions, announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) has named Director xStream as a recipient of a 2009 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award.
Director xStream is a data monitoring switch that enables the deployment of an intelligent, flexible and efficient monitoring access platform for 10G networks. The appliance allows organizations to monitor increasingly complex traffic; as voice, data, and video are combined within the network. Director xStream enables a pool of 10G and 1G tools to be deployed across a large number of 10G network links, with remote, centralized control of exactly which traffic streams are directed to each tool. Organizations can leverage the Net Optics Director xStream products to see more traffic with fewer monitoring tools as well as relieve oversubscribed 10G monitoring tools. Director xStream also utilizes the company’s unique TapFlow™ filtering technology, which enables organizations to direct specific traffic to corresponding tools, based on protocols, IP addresses, ports, and VLANs.
Bob Shaw, President and CEO of Net Optics was pleased that Director xStream was chosen for a 2009 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award. “This honor is a testament to our mission to provide organizations the ability to gain 100 percent network visibility and enable cost-effective monitoring, in an increasingly complex network environment.”
“Net Optics has been recognized with a 2009 Product of the Year Award for their admirable efforts in the advancement of voice, data, and video traffic monitoring,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “Director xStream has shown benefits for its customers and provides ROI for the companies that use it. Congratulations to the entire team at Net Optics. I look forward to more innovative solutions from them in the coming year.”
