Finisar has continued to be busy with the launch of several new products this fall. FCoE is on the horizon and we've released a suite of products to help the market roll this out with both FCoE testers and a new 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel blade.

Finisar is first to market with a complete FCoE testing suite including Analyzer, Load Tester, and Jammer. The 10GE/FCoE Analyzer provides unparalleled visibility into network transactions. The FCoE Load Tester creates FCoE traffic streams designed to stress network equipment and verify performance and stability. The 10GE/FCoE Jammer tests system robustness, the performance of priority flow control, and error recovery capabilities by manipulating live traffic flows. Additionally, the multi-protocol capabilities of the Xgig platform enable developers to evaluate and analyze network traffic as it crosses protocol domains such as the topology of the FCoE network linking to Fibre Channel SAN.

Finisar also released two new blades for Xgig to identify and analyze a wide range of networking issues for both 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel. Focusing on upgrading features to support analyzing FCoE and Data Center Bridging (DCB), this is the ideal tool for testing emerging FCoE devices and systems. During the first industry-wide FCoE Plugfest, the Xgig Analyzer was once again the industry standard for testing these early FCoE ecosystems.
