The Megaplex-4100 multiservice access node provides an efficient and cost-effective tool for integrating various data interfaces, rates and user services including Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet services, low speed n x 64 kbps data, high speed data (up to STM-1/OC-3), digital voice, analog voice, and ISDN, for transmission over multiple E1/T1 and STM-1/OC-3 trunks.

The next-generation concentrator can terminate Ethernet traffic carried over E1/T1 links or a bundle of E1/T1 lines. It also features an internal cross-connect matrix of up to 160 Mbps, enabling it to cross connect traffic directly from one channel to another.

The Megaplex-4100 offers carrier-class service provisioning features, including end-to-end path management, to ensure ease-of-configuration and continuous service availability.
