GigaVUE-MP is an Out-of-Band Data-Access Switch for enterprise networks, providing dynamic connectivity for “out-of-band” monitoring tools such as IDS, sniffers, VoIP analyzers, application monitors and data recorders. GigaVUE-MP is a modular 10/100/1000 Ethernet system that unobtrusively acquires and maps relevant traffic from multiple data sources to multiple tools; it consists of one 8-port Base Unit and up to three 4-port GigaPORT/GigaTAP hot-pluggable modules, for a total of 20 ports.
